Cambrian Park Plaza - Update Meeting

Date: Monday, May 12th, 2014

Time: 7:00pm

Location: Cambrian School District Boardroom 4115 Jacksol Drive, 95124

As you may have heard, Cambrian Park Plaza (the large commercial center at the southeast corner of Camden and Union) is currently on the market to be sold. There is some speculation that after the center is sold, the new owner may wish to redevelop it. In the interest of getting information out to the community as early as possible, the Cambrian Community Council and Councilmember Donald Rocha are partnering to hold a neighborhood meeting to inform the community what the City’s land use rules would allow to be built on the site if a new owner wanted to redevelop the property. It will also be an opportunity to take community questions and feedback.

It’s important to point out that there is not currently a redevelopment application on file with the City; the purpose of this meeting is to inform residents about the site so that they can be knowledgeable and prepared if a redevelopment application is filed after the property is sold.

 District 9 Community Budget Meeting

Every year, the City Council approves a budget that determines what level of service the City will provide to the public. Budget decisions can affect all of the services the City provides, hearing input from residents is very important. The City holds a budget meeting in every council district in order to help residents learn about the budget and provide feedback.

Please join Mayor Reed and me for our annual District 9 Community Budget Meeting.

Date: Monday, May 19, 2014

Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm

Location: Camden Community Center 3369 Union Ave. San Jose, CA 95124
